17th Annual Ride to Breathe

Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 9:30 AM EDT – 6:45 PM EDT
Price: Free
This year will be the 17th Annual Ride to Breathe, a charity ride to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in memory of my daughter Bethany. First, I would like to thank all of you that supported the ride last year, weather it was in person, or if you made a contribution. With your support we raised $9600.00. Despite the pandemic, in 2020 we had more then 100 riders and I anticipate more for 2021.
If you would like to participate the charge this year is as follows: $20.00 per single rider (includes, ride, dinner and shirt), $30.00 double rider (includes ride, 2 dinners and 1 shirt), extra shirts are $15 and dinner only is $10.00. If you are in need of a certain size shirt that will be ONLY yours the day of the ride please send me a PRIVATE message. Registration starts at 9:30 ride kicks up at 11 AM
The ride last year was amazing, I got to ride with my son on the way to Tupper and it is something that I will remember always, riding through the mountains, I actually had tears in my eyes to see all of you helping remember my little girl and raising awareness for this great cause that is so dear to me, personally, and that is way I am not ready to give up this ride, it was all of you. I do need to point out some issues that we did encounter though. At the very beginning I believe, like I always do, “stated that my ride is NOT about speed, it is for a cause and to remember a little girl who’s life was taken too soon”, with that said, 5 miles out we had to kick someone off, guess they either did not hear me, or just did not care about the safety of others. Second, I WILL NOT tolerate people bringing their own alcohol to these stops, these businesses support all of us, and I will not have that.
Sorry for rambling, I again thank you all for listening, and again I love all of you and thank you supporting me. Your participation helped and will help raise the necessary funds to support on-going CF Foundation research. Hope to see you all in September!
