Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) is pleased to be hosting another series of Feed Dealers Seminars in Northern New York. These seminars are targeted for nutritionists, veterinarians, crop and management consultants, extension educators, and dairy producers with interest in nutrition-oriented topics. They blend the latest concepts in feeding and other management aspects of dairies with field-level application.
The seminars will feature Dr. Tom Overton and Dr. Kristan Reed as speakers, and topics will include managing forage quality and quantity challenges, increasing diet precision through management of feed variability, and local research updates.
This year, the Feed Dealer Seminar will be hosted at Miner Institute in Chazy, NY, on December 11, 2019, from 6:30 – 9:00 pm for no cost, and at the Ramada Inn in Watertown, NY, on December 12, 2019, from 12-3:00 pm for $30/person (includes lunch).
